Isn't it romantic?

For my final project at college on my BTEC fashion course I was given the project of looking into the latest trends of 2016. From the Vogue trends I picked the theme of Isn't it romantic?. The designs were luxurious, rich fabrics, pretty flowers and feminine features. The two dresses I designed for the project featured delicate silhouettes in black and red cotton material. The red dress was strapless and the black dress had a high neckline. Featuring flowers and cupid applique and velvet flocking design. I was a finalist in the Liberty Shopping Centre Fashion Design Competition 2016 in Romford where the red dress was shown on the catwalk.
