Zara Live Industry Project

In my first term of my second year in footwear I was given the project of designing footwear for the Inditex company. Inditex is a parent company to a selection of high street brand stores including Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho and Uterque. I chose to create a range of footwear for Zara s/s 18. My final prototype for the industry project was a catwalk designed chunky high heeled black leather boot which featured floral hand machine embroidery and floral rhinestones, with a PVC plastic sock incorporating real pressed flowers. I wanted to create an inspirational boot that showcased numerous elements that demonstrated several technical skills in the making.
